July 2007 Premier Research acquires D-TARGET, a Swiss-based CRO that specializes in clinical research and regulatory services for the medical device, combination products, and biologics products manufacturers. Founded in 1997, D-TARGET boasts a strong industry reputation in regulatory compliance services throughout Europe, helping companies to push their products successfully through the CE mark approval process.

July 2007 Premier Research acquires ARS Clinical, a Boston-based CRO that specializes in clinical data management and Oracle Clinical database services for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries. Established in 1998 as a clinical research consulting firm, ARS focuses on clinical monitoring and data management activities.

July 2006 Premier Research acquires SCIREX Corporation, a US-based CRO that specializes in clinical, data, statistical, and project management services for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. SCIREX also provides Premier Research with its renowned dedicated research centers specializing in pain-related research. The company focuses on the therapeutic areas of neuroscience (analgesia, neurology, and psychiatry) and general medicine (cardiovascular and gastrointestinal). SCIREX was originally established in 1996 through a merger of Biomedical Research Group and National Medical Research Corporation, both well-established businesses offering comprehensive contract research services.
 
December 2005 Premier Research acquires IMFORM Group, a German-based CRO that specializes in clinical data management and project management services for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries.  With offices throughout Central and Eastern Europe, IMFORM’s founders originally established the firm after the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1991 to capitalize upon the clinical research opportunities presented by the former Eastern Bloc countries.

July 2005 Premier Research acquires PharmData, an Atlanta-based CRO that specializes in clinical data management, statistical analysis, medical writing, electronic archiving, and project management services for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries. PharmData’s Parallel Processing Approach™ successfully implements the cost-effective, high-quality, rapid execution of biometrics study tasks.

June 2005 Premier Research acquires EPA EuroPharma, a German-based CRO founded in 1971 to provide a broad range of outsourced clinical services to the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.

January 2004 CRC acquires Premier Research, a Philadelphia-based CRO that utilizes technology to enhance clinical research and data management processes. Founded in the mid-1980’s as Research Data Corporation, the Premier Research legacy includes the first Remote Data Entry (RDE) system, the first electronically submitted New Drug Application (NDA), and the first clinical Web portal.

May 2003 ACSC acquires Clinical Research Consultancy (CRC), a Swiss-based CRO with a wealth of oncology experience and operations in Austria, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Germany, Israel, Poland, Romania, Scandinavia, Spain, and Switzerland. The company changes its name to CRC with this acquisition.

May 2002 ACSC acquires Therapeutic Management Ltd, a privately owned UK-based CRO formed in 1989 with offices in the UK and the US.

March 2002 The company is founded as Advanced Clinical Sciences Corporation Ltd (ACSC). ACSC acts as the holding company through which the early acquisitions are made.
